Ruairi & Arooj | Isle of Skye Elopement

Getting to meet Ruairi, Arooj and their precious wee pup Kulfi has been an absolute highlight of our year and we are SO grateful to call these two friends now.

They chose to Elope on the Isle of Skye and step into marriage in a way that felt truly intentional to them. The weather gave us some crazy wind and rain but it added to the magic and was exactly what they’d hoped for!

Their ceremony was so full of intention & intertwined their cultures so delicately and beautifully. They had Francesca Leigh as their celebrant who is one of our dear friends and she just went so far above and beyond for them making it a ceremony we’ll remember forever.

Emma from Skye Bloom Floristry is also a dear friend and she went so so so far above and beyond for them creating florals that were just so special!

Arooj is an incredibly talented Ceramicist (our house is slowly but surely becoming full of her gorgeous pots) and she made so many beautiful things for their day.

We were so honoured to be invited to their post wedding reception celebration 6 months later where they showed the video and photographs to their loved ones and it felt so so special to be in that room and share in that moment with their loved ones!

Their elopement is one that’ll go down in our history books for sure and we’ll forever be so grateful we got to be a part of it!
