We always send a couple of sneak peeks within the first couple of days after our time together. Then for adventure sessions full galleries will be delivered between 8 - 10 weeks. For Elopements full galleries will be ready within 10 - 12 weeks.
Our timeframes are slightly higher than the average photographer as we travel a lot for work and we hand edit each photo with care. Our Videos are delicately pieced together. All of this is in order to tell your story as honestly, authentically and artistically as possible - this takes time but it’ll be worth the wait!

Yes! Our Glencoe, Edinburgh & Skye Adventure Session Packages include all our travel & accommodation costs however for Elopements depending on location an additional travel & accommodation fee will be added.
We are based on the Isle of Skye so wouldn’t add any fees for Skye based Elopements / Sessions but elsewhere in wider Scotland we would add a travel fee that you’ll be quoted during our initial conversations.
To give an idea a Glencoe Elopement would have a travel fee of £850 (to cover 2 nights accommodation, Mileage & VAT) & an Edinburgh Elopement would have a travel fee of £2850 (to cover 3 nights accommodation, mileage & VAT)

Yes! Our gallery host Pic-Time has a beautiful integrated shop where you can purchase your album and any prints!
The Fine Art Albums are really beautiful and we would highly recommend purchasing one of these.

We’ll hop on a call or two and get to know each other, chat about your plans and any questions you may have. We’ll then send you a contract and booking form for you to have a look over.
We take a 50% non-refundable booking fee upon booking and this goes towards all the work we put into your session before it happens - including emails, location scouting, equipment investment, reserving your day and so much more. We then take the remaining 50% 1 month before the session date.
We also offer payment plans - just chat to us about what would work for you and we can make arrangements that are more suited to you!
YOUR DATE IS NOT RESERVED UNTIL THE BOOKING FORM & CONTRACT ARE SIGNED & BOOKING FEE IS PAID.

There’s a high chance it will rain if your session is taking place in Scotland. So we’ll just embrace it - photos in the rain are always our favourites and it just adds to the adventure!

We don’t specify a number as we don’t view your story as a check box of images. Instead we send each and every image we find truly adds to the story of your day.
To give a rough idea it usually works out at roughly 50 images per hour we’re together.
-
No, we treat your photographs & video like valuable art. We would never want to give you something that isn’t the finished product.
-
No, we work super hard to bring your day back to life through your video and each artistic and creative decision made throughout the process is in order to truly encapsulate how it felt. We don’t want you to view your video as a project that can be edited but instead as a core memory. Think back to super 8 films and 35mm film.
-
No, we’re unable to include your own music choice in your video as legally we must properly licence music. We licence all our music through Musicbed - you are welcome to have a look through their available songs if you wish but we would advise against it as we wouldn’t want you knowing the music to take away from the impact of watching your video and re-living the day! Finding the perfect song / songs for your video is a huge part of our creative process so we just ask you trust us in that!

If for some reason or another your plans were to change I will obviously do everything I can to help you out. We take a 25% rescheduling fee in addition to the total cost, if for whatever reason we were unable to cover a new date for you we would usually hire an associate shooter who we have worked with before and they would shoot the event and we would edit. If you didn’t feel comfortable with that and / or our go to and trusted associate shooters are unavailable and you were wanting to cancel we would take a cancellation fee of 35% of the total cost. If you had already paid in full we would refund you 15%.
-
I’m so sorry you had to ask! Of course, we are here to love and welcome all! We have created a safe space and want all to feel welcome and loved by us - no matter who you love, how you love, how you dress, how you identify - you are so so welcome here!

For Adventure & Soul and Earth sessions we’d always recommend wearing something you first and foremost feel incandescently yourselves in.
In terms of matching up outfits with each other and general guidance we’d recommend looking at what the colours of the area are like and sticking to more neutral / complimentary tones. For example browns, blacks, greens & creams always look good pretty much all year round. Creams look especially good in the winter months where the ground is orange and brown (always worth having a backup of a darker colour incase its snowed) and then in summer blues or creams often look beautiful with greenery.
If you’re unsure please feel free to chat to us and we can send over some examples.

No. And we would heavily advise you to be cautious of these when looking for vendors to work with.
Because of VAT planning services will need to have this cost accounted for which likely means you’re paying a lot more to the planner than paying the vendor directly. Secondly if they’re not VAT registered an all inclusive planning service will likely be what pushes them over the VAT limit and that’s when couples in the past have been scammed by planners.
We also feel it is fundamental YOU build these relationships with the people YOU want to work with on your day — whilst we will help with planning and send over lots of recommendations it is so important you work with a celebrant you feel a connection with or a florist who you vibe with and know they’ll bring your floral visions to life etc!
So please just take this as a note to proceed with caution!

We fully appreciate we are priced at the higher end of the market. HOWEVER, we are still making less than minimum wage. We know the numbers look big at face value and we know that can come across unjustified when the wider market rate is significantly less.
Those charging significantly less will likely not be paying taxes, not be paying VAT, they may be a hobbyist and not actually making a penny from photography, they may have other sources of income, they may rely on AI or outsourcing for all other elements of the job aside from physically shooting or they may be simply overworking and undercharging.
There is a huge lack of education in the photography world in regards for how photographers should be charging for their work and unfortunately that often leads to photographers just guessing a rate / just undercutting themselves based on someone else’s rate. This means for those of us that know the rate we should be charging prices us so high above the market rate it can come across unjustifiably high.
We are incredibly passionate about actually getting to know those we work with and really dedicate time to giving you the best experience possible. We will not be shooting back to back elopements and most certainly not be shooting 5+ elopements per week.
This isn’t just a job - it’s an art and we can only create art when we’re refreshed and intentional with our time that’s why we only take 12-18 Elopements Per Year.
We wanted to share this in the interest of being transparent as we do know these numbers are high and you deserve to know where your money is going. For us what we actually make from any payment that comes in is 20% - almost 50% goes towards Taxes & VAT and then the remaining 30% goes into the general running costs of the business.
