Jacquline & Eric | Isle of Skye Elopement

Jacquline & Eric’s Elopement felt like an actual fairytale — like something out of my wildest dreams! Every detail was just absolutely magical!

We met them in Portree for Ice Cream bur in classic Skye style it was raining and so they shut early SO we grabbed a coffee from Birch (which was slightly more fitting for the wild weather) and wandered down to the harbour! Jacquline was wearing her Mum’s dress — my heart could actually burst!! She had it altered and planned to wear it with a skirt addition for their reception back home so that was such a special nod to their reception and family!

We then ventured up North where Jacquline changed into her gown which Eric hadn't yet seen and as they shared a loch side first look the sun came out!! Chills chills chills!!! The wind picked up and oh my gosh it was just stunning!! We then headed round to the spot where they’d exchange their vows and the heavens opened once again and the clouds turned a dark shade of blue — just beautiful!

I must have giddily shouted “the DRAMAAAAA” about a thousand times but everything about their day really was screaming “the DRAMAAAAA” and I was obsessed!

Truly love our job so much — getting to spend the day with people like these two in places like Skye is just so special & I’ll forever be pinching myself that this is what we get to do! Celebrating love and soaking up nature is such a gift!
