Vanessa & Colby | Isle of Skye Elopement

To watch as sun rays seep over mountain tops & the moon to rise as the sky turns blue! What a beautiful way to step into marriage — to exchange vows lost in the beauty of the Scottish Highlands!

Vanessa & Colby had their elopement planned in a matter of days and it truly was spectacular! Earlier in the week we’d had 99 mph winds and so we’d got some backup plans up our sleeves just incase the weather was still fairing on dangerous but to our delight it was such a contrasting day — so calm, gorgeous sun flares & an all round beautiful day!

We met them by the beach as they got ready for their elopement in the camper they’d hired for their trip — what an epic way to do it!!

We then headed up the road to the spot they’d hold their ceremony at. Their ceremony tucked in the mountains with 360 views was something special and felt so full to the brim of just pure joy!

After their ceremony we wandered the hills - saw many a cute sheep & just soaked up the incredible scenery! It’s pretty rare to see all the way across to the mainland hills but this day we could AND they were snow capped! Just magical!

Beyond grateful to call this our job and what an absolute dream it was to join Vanessa & Colby on their epic adventure elopement here on Skye!
