Marge & Cody | Isle of Skye Elopement

“Til our fingers decompose" // The beauty of our job is getting to meet beautiful souls - people who you just instantly fall in love with & never ever want to part ways with. Marge + Cody are just that and I honestly don't think I'll ever truly have the words to express just how special their day was.

We arrived at their gorgeous wee Airbnb here on Skye & their neighbours had sheep & they came out to give us some food to feed them - already our hearts were all bursting! The day could have been just that moment & it would have been perfect but that was only the beginning!

We then hopped in the cars and headed out to the mountains where they exchanged their vows, tied the knot and shared a drink from the quaich before we carried on wandering through the hills and spotted honestly THOUSANDS of mushrooms.

Something about me is if I see a mushroom I'm stopping to take a photo of them & these two were just as excited by the mushies as I was - Marge has a hair salon which is covered in mushroom art & I have a feeling some of the mushie shots may just find their way in there too! We even found a mushroom fairy circle which was so magical!

The heavens then opened & we got absolutely soaked in the best way possible and they were saying how they'd been manifesting a dry ceremony followed by a rainy end & they got just that! Absolutely magical!!! We then headed back to their Airbnb for them to warm up with a cup of tea - it really was the most perfect day ever & I'll never ever ever get over it!
