Madaline & Matt | Isle of Skye Adventure Session

It was one of those evenings that just sets your creative soul on fire.

I'd scouted out some of the spots we went to knowing they'd only really work on a day like this and so I've been waiting patiently for all the stars to align and for these locations to work together well!

So when Madaline + Matt had mentioned where they were staying and it was possibly the closest place you could stay to all of these spots that was sign number 1 that this might just be it. And then when we checked the weather and it was supposed to be super clear and sunny that was sign number 2 - so we pushed the session to sunset (we usually aim to finish a bit before sunset as sunsets are pretty rare here and we want to make sure we can maximise on the light).

The whole time we spent with these two was just a true dream - from finding out we have a mutual friend, chatting all things film photography, hearing about their upcoming wedding plans and just getting to know their beautiful hearts and souls. AND the moon was out the whole time - this really was a dream in every single way.

I will forever feel so full of gratitude that this is actually real life. I get to meet people from all over the world. I get to hear their stories & am given a glimpse into their souls and to get to photograph that and document that really is something so special and I'll always be so grateful to call this my job.
